What Fun Will Be Had?

Festival Highlights

The Colorado Honeybee Festival will feature over 100 artisan vendors sharing honey products, artisan creations and honeybee related gifts.

Check out live music, listen to our guest speakers, taste the delightful cooking with honey recipes, enter the annual costume contest, compete in the elementary school spelling bee, or just stroll through Cross Orchards Historic Site to shop with our carefully selected vendors.

Bring the entire family for this free educational festival.

The Cross Orchards train will be giving tours around the festival for children to ride for free. Operation hours are 11 – 4 p.m.

Spelling Bee

Compete in our annual KREX spelling bee to win cute bee related prizes. All elementary school aged children encoraged to participate.

Costume Contest

Wear your favorite bee themed costume and compete for cute honeybee related prizes.

Live Music

Live music starts at 10 a.m. and will feature the sweet sounds of the “Queen Bees.”

Guest Speakers

This years’ guest speakers will feature Dan Bean presenting “Good Bugs for your Garden.” Additional guest speakers to be announced soon.

Chef Demos

Learn unique honey recipes and sample delightful treats  in our “Cooking with Honey” presentation from Chef Chad and Dixie Burmeister.

Shop local honey products, artisan crafts and bee-themed products. Stop by our educational booths to learn more about honeybees and bee keeping.
