Vendors arrive early to setup for a fun day at the festival.

Festival kickoff starts at 10 a.m. with Slim Pickin’s Band at the Cross Orchards Gazebo.

Keynote Speaker in the Barn
Dr. John Mola, assistant professor of ecology at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado will present about pollinators and the importance of honeybees in Colorado.

Learn about Good Bugs in the Barn
Learn about biocontrol as a honeybee-friendly way to control weeds and insect pests. Dan Bean, Director of the Palisade Insectary, will show you the good bugs that help control peach pests, corn pests, tamarisk, field bindweed and more. These beneficial insects and mites work for us on ranches, farms, open spaces and even in your back yard to control weeds and pests, while reducing reliance on pesticides that may harm pollinators.
